Hyères, a town and places to discover by the sea

Are you coming to spend your vacations at our campsite in the Var?

Take advantage of your stay to discover Hyères. An emblematic town on the Var coast, Hyères has many places of interest to visit, both in town and on the water, starting with the harbors.

From the port of Saint Pierre, to La Madrague, via the Tour Fondue on the Giens peninsula, stroll along the quays of typical Côte d’Azur ports.

There are also lively ports: Port de l’Ayguade, with its sandy, pebble beach nearby, hosts a market every Wednesday. La Capte, on the seafront, hosts a market every Friday, with scents made in Provence. The Port de Niel, a small marina on the southern tip of the Giens peninsula, is a place of rare beauty. It welcomes a few traditional fishermen as soon as the Var’s fine weather arrives. Port Pothuau, from which a 4km greenway, accessible only to bicycles and pedestrians, leads to Hyères-plages.
